#Plexamp 4.3 beta 7 on Android app

when i start playing a Tidal playlist or song, it takes time, too much to my taste (6-7 seconds) to compare to my local music. It’s annoying and disturbing for using pleasure.
Is there a way to speed up time access to Tidal music playing?

Not sure about Tidal because I don’t have a sub, but Plexamp tries to cache multiple songs in advance in case you go through a tunnel. Change the number of tracks it caches in Settings. Does that help by any chance?
in my case (just for comparison), any additional delay is minimal, not enough to consider it a problem … I typically get a little extra delay (maybe 2 seconds) before playback starts on the first track of a tidal album or playlist using plexamp (I’m in the US, and that’s on home WiFi, with plexamp set to cache next track only)
is the longer delay you’re experiencing only at the start of an album or playlist, or is it more frequent than that? is it while you’re mobile or on your home network? and what delay do you get if you start playback from the tidal app?

I decreased to next track only caching but no efffect.
It takes 7-8 seconds to start the first song of a Tidal playlist (an auto mix) and if i click on another track it takes same time. Sometimes it’s shorter but no less that 4-5 seconds.
I am at home with good wifi.
I don’t think the cache feature waits to cache the 15 tracks before starting playing!?
for comparison purposes, what delay do you get if you start playback directly from the tidal app?
From Tidal app, the playing starts immediatly.
