Plexamp issue playing very long duration tracks from Tidal

This is an odd one … If I use plexamp to play any track from Tidal that’s longer than (approximately) 28 minutes, the track will stop playing when it reaches somewhere near the halfway point … playback will move to the next track in the queue, if there is one.

I’ve observed this using plexamp 4.2.2 on windows, mac, and iOS
I have plex server 1.27.1.5916 running on windows, and a Tidal hifi subscription that’s billed thru plex

If I use plexamp to play the same tracks saved locally on my plex server (local FLAC files from albums I own, not from Tidal), the tracks play all the way through without issue

If I play the tracks from Tidal using the standard plex web app (not plexamp), the tracks play all the way through without issue

If anyone wants to try and duplicate this, here’s a Tidal playlist with long tracks … only the first (Four Tet) track plays all the way through for me on plexamp, the rest will all stop playing somewhere in the middle

example plexamp logs from iOS and mac attached

No takers?
This one has been very easy to reproduce for me, happens every time, just need to listen to a long enough Tidal track via plexamp.

some additional info … issue still exists and is easily repeatable …

first photo below shows network traffic for headless/pi Plexamp install while pre-fetching a long duration track from Tidal (during playback, this track only plays about half way through) … total data transfer from Tidal to the pi is ~ 190MB

second photo is info for the same 44/16 track that I own and store in FLAC format on my Plex server (and which Plexamp will play through to the end) … also ~ 190MB

it looks like the entire track is being transferred from Tidal to the Plexamp player, something else is causing playback to stop mid track
