I linked my Plex account to TIDAL when it was first announced. It worked, but I never really used it. Tried to use it today, and the Plex for Apple TV app, the Plex for Windows app and the Plex online browser fail to show me content.
I unlinked my TIDAL account and re-linked it. Does not fix the issue.
The Apple TV app asks me to “try to reconnect”. Windows app shows a “TIDAL + Plex = music to your ears” message with a “Learn more” link.
I have tried the unlink/relink a couple of times, to no avail. Does anybody have any ideas?
I am running Plex Server v1.16.2.1297, and Windows app appears to be v3.104.1.
Hey @Framgeld, that sounds a bit odd and shouldn’t be happening.
I can see you have a TIDAL account linked but I’ve asked to have somebody more qualified to look at your account to see if there might be something amiss, I’ll follow up when I know more.
I am having issues too. I liked my tidal account but nothing that is supposed to my in my playlist and collection is not there. It looks like its a brand new account.
Same problem here. On web/mac I can play tracks from Tidal but not add them to Plex playlists, but on iOS it just acts like I don’t have a subscription.
I have having this issue with My Tidal side of Plex as well. It will either bring up an error message advising me to come to the forums or it will just load about 40 or so artists and then for the rest just has loading where the artist name should be. This has been bugging me for the last few days now and would like to try and get this working again or if is an known issue, at least get a timescale of when this might be fixed
I want to join this party too. I get same error message to go to forums even though everything shows that I’ve successfully transferred tracks and playlist. Linked, and relinked. Nada
Tidal and Roku could not come to an agreement, therefore Plex could not provide Tidal content on Roku. That is my understanding. Now that Tidal and Roku are in agreement and the Tidal app is available on Roku. Maybe Plex can integrate it again. Hopefully!
Having same issue. I contacted Plex and I was told to go to the forums to post for answers. Not the customer help I was expecting.
But I am hoping posting here might make Plex and Tidal look into this issue, as it as it seems that many are having similar issues.
Tidal is connected and paid in my account settings, but all tidal access via the plex interface only shows up as a trial with only snippets . Again, Plex support was of little help.
I have tried signing in and out, with nothing changing. My account show I have paid for a plex pass with Tidal. Plex interface only shows samples and large add at top asking you to subscribe. I am getting close to just canceling tidal.
It used to work flawlessly for me, but since about 2 days Tidal content is not showing up for all artists. For some the Tidal content shows up, for others I only see related artists from my local collection. (I have upgraded to the newest Plex Music library, so that may have something to do with it?)
Hey @Weirdomusic really sorry about this. We picked up a regression earlier today causing some issues which we have just deployed a fix for in the last hour.
Could you test again now and see if things are working again for you?
It’s not working for me to access my tidal playlists or my tidal. On the homepage of Tidal it shows albums and artists but only plays demos. I have a full premium tidal subscription and have connected it to Plex. It’s also not showing similar artists and albums from Tidal in my local music section.
