TIDAL trial sub not showing plex pass features

I have the Server Version#:1.14.0.470 running on a qnap.
Subscribed to the 30day tidal trial.
Everywhere i look its showing me that i dont have a plex pass.
When i click on go premium ,it shows me that i already have premium.
But still i am not able to use any features from it (example home users ,i see a blank option card there with : you need a plex pass…)

Already removed account from plex server.
Added account to plex server.
Restarted NAS.
Waited (~3 days).

Checking your account, I don’t see you have signed up for Tidal through Plex. Are you using the same Plex account as this forum account?

Ah. Found your account. You signed up for the Tidal Premium bundle. This gives you access to certain Plex Pass features only. It is not a full Plex Pass. You need to sign up for the Tidal HiFi bundle to get all Plex Pass features. See https://support.plex.tv/articles/adding-tidal-subscriptions-to-plex/ for a list of the features you get with Tidal Premium.

Thanks for checking into it. Appreciate it. Of course i didn’t read everything fully.Now i got it.

However there is quite a lot of inconsistency.
The local plex server show me a GO PREMIUM button ,when clicking pops up the 4.99$ monthly 39.99$ yearly etc…
When picking one i get : We like you too much to take your hard-earned money twice. User xyz.gmail already has a TIDAL Premium subscription.
With no options. (Like buy plex pass at some point).

However the web app doest show the GO PREMIUM at all. (so it looks like a all access options).

It’s really confusing for a first time user. Maybe run this thru the UX team.

Yeah, we are aware of some issues. Hoping these will get fixed soon.

yeah ,seems like there is kind of a bug.

If you buy the promo tidal sub (the 6$ something one) ,you will not be able to buy a plex pass after that.
Unlinking tidal does not help.
Only canceling Tidal allows you to buy a plex pass over the account page again.

  • btw big fan after using this for 4days ,gonna play with that PLEX pass now. sorry to see the TIDAL sub go ,but it was meh either way.

That is one thing we hope to fix soon. If you have a Plex Pass, the Tidal subs get a little cheaper. We don’t have a way to change the pricing after signing up at this time. We need to fix that then we can allow you to sign up for the PP after the fact.
