I am very curious about this as well. It should support tone mapping as well, if implemented. And encoding to HEVC should be possible in hardware as well. This would me wanna update my server.
I think this is out now in a few laptops. I was hoping for a NUC.
I am also curious to see if someone has any real world statistics to share about the Xe gpus
