I just want to take a moment to give a huge thanks to everyone at Plex be it Devs, Ninjas, employees, and regular members who contribute a lot in assisting others and anyone I have missed.
Plex has always worked pretty well for me when I initially ran it locally on Windows and nowadays with a remote server in Germany and all media hosted on Gdrive. Over the last few days, I have realized just well it works. I sent out a mass message to my users earlier today asking if they really were watching such an item at such a time yesterday after pretty much all my 15 users were really all watching stuff at the same time (according to Tautulli and Varys.)
In total 19 simultaneous streams, some direct play and some transcodes. (If you’re wondering about the maths all my users are allowed two simultaneous streams and with the lockdown, they are clearly taking advantage.) Not a single person has reported a playback issue over the last few weeks
I did think of tagging Plex individuals who I have interacted with for help over the years, but that wouldn’t be fair on any I had missed. So @elan I just wanna give a massive thanks for all your staff do. UNO especially is both stunning, modern and as consistent as it can be over a multitude of clients.
Probably the biggest compliment I can pay Is I hardly interact on the forums personally nowadys. I just have far too many movies and shows to watch.
