Title of movies is wrong language

I’ve setup Plex Media Server and set the language to danish, but the naming of all content is english by default, so i have to renmae it all to danish names…

Can you confirm the language in the library settings?
(1) go to Manage Library > Edit...

(2) check Language on the General tab of the library settings dialog

Is this by chance set to English?

Thansk for fast reply. Yes the language is set to danish, both server interface, web interface, libs and the audio and subtitles for movies being played.
Will i be able ot see the issue in the extended logging log?

Can you add a movie to your library and check the technical details once it’s automatically matched (-> Get Info... > View XML from the movie context menu / the pre-play screen).
I’d be interested in the value it’ll show for its GUID. The GUID contains information on the agent used, the actual movie Id and the language used when matching (therefore please don’t use a movie you already fixed)

Hi tom80H,

I just found a movie in my lib that i had not made changes on. It’s quiet odd, the description of the movie is on danish, but the title is english… I know its .mkv and will try to make a .mp4 instead that is fully supported by PMS.Ant Bully.txt (10.9 KB)

There should be no need to actually transcode the file.

Can you verify if Localized Titles is checked in that library’s advanced settings?
If it’s not… check it and update the library metadata.
