Tivo Bolt - "There was a problem playing this item"

Love Plex. I have the PLEX on my QNAP server. Plex was updated in Feb 2017. I can view movies/shows through my browser on my computer. when we try on our Tivo Bolt, it would throw an error: “There was a problem playing this item”. Now, it was the same video in my browser that had no problems. When I did it on Tivo, it would do it in separate spots. I have a pretty strong wifi router that is 802.11ac so I feel it is not wifi. (BTW, my computer is on the wifi and had no problems viewing the movie. Thoughts on resolving this?

This is a Plex problem, I have the same experience. How do I get support from Plex?

Plex channels “there was a problem playing this item”
My half channels was working perfectly for half a day. All works on PC, Roku, smart tv, only Plex will not play channels. I have got most of them to work and as of today none are working. I have uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled the Channels.
This is a very uncomfortable problem since I have placed my trust in Plex and migrated my household over to Plex.

Please, can Plex give more descriptive error messages. And PLEASE look at the problem. I only found complaints on the web and no solutions to this problem.

Techinally, my TIVO has an HDMI to the LG TV, but I do not think this is an HDCP or whatever it is called.

So just add it to the list of Tivo issues with Plex.

We got the latest Tivo version. 20.7.1. Still no luck. I have the latest Plex version too…Version 1.4.4.3495. But it keeps on breaking at different times. Sort of annoying paying for the Plex Pass and not to hear anything.
