Cannot start Plex App on TiVo Bolt. Never had an issue like this before, other streaming apps, YouTube, Amazon, seem to launch OK. Rebooting the TiVo does not cure the issue. Other devices on the same network are able to launch PLEX App, and connect to various Plex media servers. The issue seems to be isolated to just the TiVo at the moment. Any Suggestions? I’ve seen reports of similar issues that were closed or at least a year ago where PLEX/TiVo apparently pushed an update to fix the issue.
Full Error message reads -
“Plex is unable to start due to an error.”
“Please start by using the Reset Plex button below, which will restore your default app settings, after which you can link to your Plex account again. If you continue having issues, please drop by our forums at http://forums.plex.tv and tell us about this in person.”

I have followed that procedure several times without success… so I’m now telling “Plex about this in person”… on the forum.
Having same issue on both of my Tivo Bolt units. Have restarted one of the Bolts but problem persists. Wondering if there’s a way to uninstall the Plex app on Tivo and reinstall…
This is not good…not good at all. Is it a Tivo or Plex issue?
Yea, same here. Worked fine last night then stopped working this morning. Still able to access Plex through other devices such as iPhone and iPad and Web on PC. No luck with TiVo. Cant start on mini either. Hopefully we can get it resolved soon. Any input and details would be great.
Same exact thing here with me on my TiVo. Just started this morning/afternoon 7/3/19. Assuming it’s a widespread known issue judging from these posts so I’m hoping it’s addressed by Plex quickly. Also confirming that Plex works fine on all my other devices.
Same here. Today, July 3rd, my plex app stopped working on my tivo bolt and all the extenders. Plex works on my phone and other platforms. Please fix! My kids are going crazy!
Any idea on how to submit a support ticket to Plex? The contact form is claimed to be unanswered by support. Do they read this forums regularly or just every once in a while?
Can’t see any way to open or submit a ticket on the site, unfortunately. In fact, they flat out tell you that issues submitted on a contact form will not be addressed, so hoping they view the forums as they say they do.
