As a plex user, I would like the ability to toggle on/off the display of watched items via a settings option. When toggled to off state, the system would not display any movies, shows, etc. that have already been completely watched. When toggled to the on state, the system would display all objects available in any category.
Because the user typically starts their experience in the home page, it would be helpful to not have to see all items previously watched. This would be especially helpful for the home page but could also be implemented in libraries.
There’s already an existing suggestion discussing an option for such a toggle on the Home Screen (or individual hubs on the Home Screen). While that thread is tagged for Roku, the discussion isn’t limited to that client. Please comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes.
Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.
