Tom and Jerry Naming Impossible to Get Right

There have been a few threads about this topic already, but I cannot get Tom and Jerry to work even with the naming conventions listed in other threads. There are three season for it, that are named after decades - Season 1940, Season 1950, and Season 1960. My current naming convention for each of the seasons looks like the following, and it does not work:

Series Name: Tom and Jerry (1940)
Tom and Jerry (1940) - S1940E01 - Puss Gets The Boot
Tom and Jerry (1940) - S1950E01 - Little Quacker
Tom and Jerry (1940) - S1960E01 - Switchin’ Kitten

I’ve also gone into settings to Local Media Assets is listed as last for any of the Agents.

This is the folder structure required:

/path/to/tvshows/Tom and Jerry/Season 1940/
/path/to/tvshows/Tom and Jerry/Season 1950/
/path/to/tvshows/Tom and Jerry/Season 1960/

Episodes should be named:

Tom and Jerry - S1940E01 - [any additional info].ext

Thanks, I’ve tried that and Plex is still pulling up a blank.

The folder structure is exactly as you’ve listed after /tvshows/Tom and Jerry:

However, Plex either draws up a blank or keeps matching to “Tom and Jerry Tales (2015)”:

Click on “Search Options” and use the TVDB Series ID 72860 in the search field and see if it brings the correct version.

Thank you to all that recommended the TVDB Series ID #. How do you find that series ID #? Is it in the URL of the show on TVDB?

The ID is shown on the main page of the show on TheTVDB website.
