I’m using a Mac, and in the last 5 days or so i’ve been unable to use Safari to view my Plex library. All I get on the page which loads is:
‘Too many redirects occurred trying to open https://app.plex.tv/desktop. This might occur if you open a page that redirected to open another page, which then is redirected to open the original page’.
I have deleted all cookies and history and the message is still there. I have ended up using the Firefox browsers instead which works. If there a known fix though for Safari to get this back working so I can view my library as normal?
The same thing is happening to me. Impossible to view the app.plex.tv/desktop webpage no matter what I do : erasing all the cookies, booting in safe mode, unchecking the “prevent crosse site tracking” box… I also tested with chrome and firefox, no issue with them… I am wondering if something has changed on the app.plex.tv page since some days that is causing this problem…
I gave a try with other Mac systems (Catalina and High Sierra) on those it works on safari, the one which is not working is the Safari on Big Sur. Seems strange as the safari of Catalina and Big Sur seems to be the same version… On which systems are you ?
