The Simpsons and Family Guy have sure plummeted in quality over the last few years… it’s just not the same sweet stories with a moral and social criticism and parody as it used to be. Nowadays it’s an entire episode about Lady Gaga, Facebook, Apple… they’re milking this show to its death. Or as Bart Simpsons put it self-referentially: “If I had a TV show, I’d run that sucker into the ground.”

I would agree with anyone who claims the quality of South Park has diminished in recent seasons but I still laugh a ton at older episodes and it will always be one of my favorite shows.

Does anyone remember the show Celebrity Deathmatch? It used to air on MTV late in the night. It was all modeled in charming old-school clay and featured funny commentary from the hosts.
