Track Order for an Album Changes after Adding Tracks to a Collection

When viewing an album, tracks that are in a Collection are listed in numerical order before the other tracks that are NOT in the Collection.

It appears as though the two groups have different Disc Numbers. When using Edit to inspect the Disc Number, it shows as MIXED.

After editing MIXED to 1, and locking the edit, the tracks show in order. But after 10 seconds or so, the track order reverts to out of order and 1 is replaced by MIXED.

Metadata tags within the files are correct. Refreshing metadata does not fix anything, no matter what the metadata source is.

This makes it impossible to play an album in track order. Help please!!
