I have everything configured when when i fire up plexconnect it runs without error, but when I go to the trailers app I do not see Plex data, still the normal trailer info, any suggestions?

Can you pls post your Settings.cfg and PlexConnect.log files ?
What is the IP of your ATV, and what is the content of its DNS setting ?
The main causes for this type of problems are:
- The DNS setting was left as default
- PlexConnect was parametrized to intercept another app
I have resolved this issue. My Plex server was hard wired while my Apple TV was on WiFi. Once I hard wired the Apple TV things worked as expected. Should things work regardless of WiFi or hard wire if on same network?
My ATV3 works in WiFi or Ethernet, although it doesn’t retain the DNS setting, so it has to be parametrized whenever I switch from cable to WiFi or vice-versa.
It’s preferrable to have server and ATV cabled.
