Are you using German as the language on the ATV?
Can you try changing it to English?
I changed the language to english. The UI is english but it shows:

Hmm maybe Baa can throw some light on it, can’t think straight at the moment.
Thank you anyway, you are awesome!
certificates?
firewall?
Now it works!
I deleted the certificate on my Apple TV and readded it.
But I have got two last questions:
- How can I tell PlexConnect to start at every system boot?
- How can I update PlexConnect (automatically)?
Thanks in advance, Guys!
1. MacOS? Install launchctl daemon from /support/OSX. Some more docu in Wiki...
2. No auto-update available (yet?). One solution with minor trouble: Get OSX github app and update manually every now and then. Honestly, I don't think it is best to always push the "latest and greatest" to every user (because I know what I can break...). And "official releases" are so far...
Thank you! Now it will start automatically.

Yeah... that's how it should work. :-)
Thanks for the (positive) feedback!
hey guys. i'm facing the exact same problem. i have installed everthing new today because my atv plex stopped working last week. after adding everthing new my atc just says "trailer is not available". any advice?
Your ATV model (2 or 3) and firmware version (found under the ATV settings > general > about > Apple TV software):
ATV 2 7.1 (7003)
The DNS server set on the ATV (found under the ATV settings > general > network > DNS):
192.168.178.26
The device and operating system (including version number) that PlexConnect is installed on:
Yosemite 10.10.3
The local IP address of the device that PlexConnect is installed on:
192.168.178.26
The device and operating system (including version number) that the Plex media server (PMS) is installed on:
Mac mini Late 2012 with Yosemite 10.10.3
The Plex media server (PMS) version number you are running (do not put 'latest'):
Version 0.9.9.7.429-f80a8d6
The local IP address of the device that the Plex media server (PMS) is installed on:
192.168.178.26
The PlexConnect version number. If using Github source then a time and date of download (look at the creation date of the folder) and if you are using any testing branch e.g. the Elan/PlexInc one.
30.05.2015
The content of your 'Settings.cfg' file (if you do not have this file you are running an old version, please update)

There you go... how about certificate?
have created it via terminal like described here: https://langui.sh/2013/08/27/appletv-ssl-plexconnect/
installed the profile on my apple tv and moved it to the folder PlexConnect-Master\assets\certificates
in the certificates folder is the trailers.cer , trailers.key , trailers.pem
Did you remove the old one prior to installing the new on aTV?
Did you use the Configurator or Network method to install the cert? Shouldn't make a difference... but you never know. :-D
no I first installed the new one via the configurator on my mac mini. then installed the atv back to my tv, and deleted the old profile via the atv settings. also I didn't delete the old PlexConnect-Master folder on my Mac but just renamed the folder to PlexConnect-Master_old and created a new one PlexConnect-Master with the new downloaded files. maybe this wasn't a good way to do so?
