As of today, trailers are being finicky again. Managed to get only one trailer to play from chrome and openpht and Plex media player.
Just to add, if I play certain movies it will show all 3 trailers I requested, while others will play one only, and yet others will play none.
any help would be appreciated. is this server side

What movie were you watching? The available trailers are capped at the rating of the movie you watch. Often there are few of even no trailers for g and pg movies, so if you were watching one of these, it is very possible to get no trailers.
well, I’m back online from Hurricane Irma (Jacksonville Florida) and all my HD movies play fine at the max bitrate. Trailers on the other hand are sh*t… all of them prebuffer about 5-10 seconds and stop. then about 30-45 seconds later they’ll play another 5 seconds and stop again. I don’t know where or how plex is getting the trailers from, but this is crap… I have 100 Mbit down and 20 Mbit up, I know it’s not my connection!
Good to hear you made it through Irma. What client are you using? Did you check to see if you selected a lower quality that might be resulting in the video being transcoded. I’m able to play back trailers without any issues. Can you give em a few examples, so I can check those to see if it’s specific to certain videos?
