loglevel=High, please...
So, i tested it now. PlexConnect isn't dead if i try start a trailer, but it's going to be very very slow.
After i try'd to start a trailer, ATV can't get some stuff, i only see the spinning wheel.
If i stop PlexConnect in the shell, it takes very long time till it's down.
Here is the Output from shell

the logs on pastebin are already set to high
And from that the issue was not reproducible, others adding the same film resulted in the trailer playing.
You might want to provide 3-4 media file names and the logs individually for each when you try and access the trailer for them.
You appear to have something specific to your setup and the commit to fix this appears to be working for others.
Also provide your settings.cfg and ALL the other info requested in the “read before posting” sticky just to make sure there is nothing unusual in your setup.

really? There were no XML files visible... strange. :-)
EDIT:
double-checked, in my logs (loglevel=High) there is evidence of the PlayVideoChannelV1 XML stuff.
In your log, it should show up at 19:46:07, right before those numerous DNS requests.

Ok, to get sure to have all stuff you need, i uploaded the log file here, but it is to large to poste it on pastebin.
I deleted the config file an let plexconnect create a new one. But it still don't work.

Do you have access to YouTube on the PC plexconnect is a installed? (It’s my understanding that’s where the trailers are pulled from)
Also can you stop plexconnect, delete the log file, start plexconnect, and then just go to a movie and try to access the trailer, once error is received stop plexconnect then upload that log, it’s a lot easier to read if the log is just for the problem, in the provided log you go to home movies etc so a lot of information that’s not relevant, so harder to find an issue to help you
Yes i can access Youtube with this pc
Thats what i did. I stopped plexconnect, deleted the log file, started plexconnect and go to movie on my atv and try to start a trailer.
Thats what the log is from.

They are actually pulled directly from You Tube to the ATV.

There is exactly the same log messages on all media files i try'd. Should i post 3 same logs?
If you told us 3 film names and what you had the media files labelled as it might help.
The one you gave before worked when added by Roidy so it would help narrow things down, eg if they all work for us it isnt the search code as such (not saying that it isn't possible that there is a bug in it but maybe it relates to something specific).
