Trailers and Extras Missing??

OK…so where did they go? Sometime in the past month or so, my trailers and extras are not appearing in Plex. Any help is appreciated

Plex Server on headless Ubuntu

thanks

still showing on a similar setup on my end. what extras are you missing – your own local extras or plex pass online extras?

in case of local extras – have you checked the agent settings (settings > server > agents)? local media assets should be activated and on a front position.
in case of online extras – are extras checked in your library settings (edit > extended > find trailers and extras automatically)?

some change like this on your server could be an explanation for what you experience – I hope it’s nothing more serious.

I’m missing ALL extras and ALL trailers, they were there…and now they’re gone. This would be the setting in Plex Server>Agents> then Movies>Plex Movie, it is still set for “Find trailers and extras automatically (Plex Pass Required)”. Other than updates to Plex when they’re available, there has been no configuration changes.

I’ve checked my PlexPass account, and the only thing I can come up with is that there is a problem with my PlexPass and the way it is validated for Trailers and Extras…thoughts or ideas anyone

I’ve hit the same problem in the last few weeks - using OpenPHT, all extras are now gone (local-content from my server, as well as PlexPass content). Trailers, featurettes, behind the scenes — all gone. But the content is still there when I check on the Plex Web interface and in the Plex iOS app. Makes me think one of the recent Plex Server upgrades might’ve broken whatever API is used to pipe the extras to some types of clients or something? But I haven’t seen many other people report his problem yet, so maybe the issue is more niche to specific set ups… I’d love to get it fixed though.

the api call to /library/metadata/169577/extras?X-Plex-Token=SECRETSTUFF is now 404 which is why extras are no longer working in openpht last few versions of PMS

@“daniel.cull” Unless OpenPHT and the Ubuntu 64bit release are one and the same, or they use the same piece of code, it looks like the problem is not restricted to OpenPHT.

This particular issue is expected to be solved with the release of PMS v1.10.0
Sorry, no particular date yet.

@OttoKerner Good enough, thanks for confirmation and appreciate the update.
