Trailers is unavailable. ATV3,2 iOS 7.2, Python 2.7.10

Hello All,

 

I'm new to the scene. I was trying to setup Plex on my ATv3 but so far am not seeing success. My setup

 

Plex/PlexConnect

Win 7 SP1 x64

32 bit Python 2.7.10

Plex connect master.zip from github

Static IP 192.168.1.90

No FW. Explicitly opened all ports in windows firewal and firewall disabled.

Plex is working and accesible on my iPhone and PS3

 

AppleTV3

7.2(7512)

Wireless (DHCP)

DNS static ->192.168.1.90

trailers.apple.com/trailers.cer (installed) (created as admin on a windows server see above)

The profile setup goes fine. Plex connect detects its IP, detects DNS requests and answers accordingly etc. But no dice when I click on trailers.

 

Follwed the github install guide for windows step by step thrice now.

btw, I've tried manually specifying Plex IP and disabling GDM discovery as well. I've even gone as far as locating all instances of the 192.168.x.x sample IP and swapping it out with my media station IP (plex machine) so that the default .cfg generates with that IP.

Oh and th ePlex version is Version 0.9.12.3.1173-937aac3

Looks like an issue with the certificate on the ATV or an issue with your firewall settings.

Here is some test certs you can try for hijacking trailers:

trailers.cer

trailers.key

trailers.pem

Put them in the /assets/certificates folder, restart plexconnect, delete old certs from the aTV, install the new certs onto your aTV, reboot the aTV and then try the trailers app.

Thanks.. that did the trick. For some reason my certs are not getting created correctly and I am following the wiki on windows. Gonna try and see what I am doing wrong. thanks for all your help you guys rock!
