Hi, I’ve searched the forums for my specific problem and found similar, but not that same issue.
I have plex pass… but I have my own trailers (local) installed along with my movies. The trailers play for the majority of the movies,
but for some plex recognizes there is a local trailer (shows the icon) but when pressed it gives the error message that the file cannot be found. I have tried rescanning the library and analyzing the metadata. I’ve verified that all the video files are there and play on my computer (outside of plex). I have also made sure the encoding is exactly the same for all my trailers by re-encoding them all using handbrake. I’ve also made sure that all the naming conventions for the files are right. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
