Trailers not working-- thanks for the help

Hey there everyone...  Hope to not get flamed here...  I honestly have searched the forum for help prior to posting  this

 

SO this is the 3rd computer I have setup with ATV Gexn 3 (6.0.2) and Plex Server with Win8.1  Using Ibaa method.

 

I have the "cannot find trailers problem."  I cannot for the life of me find the issue.  I have reinstalled everything 2 times, ever reloaded windows!  I have factory reset ATV...

 

Certs have been redone, repointed certs on the AVT and IP config looks good...  I must be mssing something really dumd cause ts getting late and I must have a fried brain right now  :-)

 

 

 

thoughts on obvious config issues?  are there permission problems that I am missing?

Is your apple tv dns pointed at your plexconnect host? Did you reload your certs or create new. Any new network hardware?

yup DS on ATV is pointed to my plex connect computer's IP.  I created new certificates....  no change in network H/W

settigns.cfg is default? any anti virus, firewall(s), webservers?

Well I have it figured out....  Well I should say working...  but not figured out.  I think I need to call bill gates and ask hims whats up :-)

Kudos to Wahlman.  Thanks for poking around my computer last night to verify I wasn't totally crazy.

So, the issue is certificates somehow...  not sure but, thats what it is.  Both Wahlman and I tried to make it work and no-go.  So, after watching CANADA show its hockey supremacy I copied the certificates and the plexconnect folder from another computer.  recreated the cert on ATV started up python and BLAMO.  it's good to go....

Mind blown!

openssl comes with 32 and 64bit versions on Windows afaik. Did you install the correct one?
