Transcoder exited due to an error

I get the error Conversion failed. The transcoder exited due to an error when trying to play any video.

Is there a fix for this?

File type?
Client?
Anything at all to work on?

Hi, I am having the same trouble after updating my server to v 1.13.4.5271. I am operating W10 and all mobile devices within my wifi will work for a short time before the message occurs. I have plex media server log files if that helps??

Happens on both windows and centos server, occurs for all file types that I have (mp4 and mkv). I am using the android app (when it doesn’t crash).

Went back to working a few hours ago but now I get the same error.

I patched this morning to the hotfix release of 1.13.4.5271 and now I get the same error:

The transcoder exited due to an error (in red block)

Windows 10, MKV file, Plex for Hisense 3.13.13 client.

I updated to the latest July 18 Patch for 1709. I havent had the problem since.
I suggest installing the MS Patch for either 1803 or 1709 depending on which one you have.
