i thought i remembered in earlier versions of PMS there was a setting that said "force transcoding on local network", or something to that effect, but for the life of me i cannot find a similar option. from my reading it looked like now you have to assign a profile to the client? first, how do i do that? and is there a way to have PMS transcode only the 1080p content sent to the pi? i'm getting a lot of stuttering playing high-bitrate content on the pi but my server is plenty powerful enough to transcode it. thanks for your help.
also, if this has been answered somewhere then i apologize, i just haven't been able to find it.
