If you were to write a Pass/Fail for this:
PMS - 1.29.2
– Video1.mkv = P/F
– Video1-5s.mkv = PF
PMS - 1.30.1
– Video1.mkv = P/F
– Video1-5s.mkv = P/F
?
I’m reviewing logs now
If you were to write a Pass/Fail for this:
For the above we are talking about transcoding from 1080p to 720p
If we are transcoding from 1080P original to 1080p lower bitrate then 1.30.1 is both fail
Are these the same files?
This is right.

But this one doesn’t match (Video5.txt)

Your extended metadata for both should deviate only by duration and 5s has no audio or subtitles.
I wonder if PMS is averaging here. 4Mbps vs 30 Mbps.
ok I unmatched the file will attach again
Thanks.
This fills it out . Thank you for taking the time.
No worries
I’ve been able to cleanly recreate this from the command line.
This will be easier for them to fix now.
Alright great, let me know when I can mark this as solved
I assume it will be a while till a fix is pushed?
I don’t think this will be long. Basic 1080p transcoding is impacted which is mainstream stuff. I would suspect this is high priority but they make the final decision.
I just noticed this issue on my server. Will this thread be updated when the fix is released?
There are many threads on this to which I’ll try to update all.
The most reliable means is to watch the Announcements thread.
