I would like to know the solution as well. Tried setting environmental variables, restarted and without any luck.

@ChuckPa would you mind working with the users to run a script to manually fix the broken post-migration absolute symlinks? thanks :slight_smile:

Iā€™ve been playing with some scripting code in preparation for fixing broken links after migration (this exact situation) and be able to resolve them during migration.

I would like to request a little bit of info on what those links actually look like.

Iā€™m willing to take this to PM if you prefer. Please let me know.

Otherwise, what I ask is simple:

  1. Find one of those absolute path symlinks (readlink Filename )
  2. Show me the path to the symlink and the path to where it thinks itā€™s pointing.

This will confirm what I think has happened.
If Iā€™m right, the rest is little bit of ScriptFu and then run the script on your existing PMS installations.

I notice that some of my movies and shows also donā€™t show a poster anymore. When manually trying to select one this happens. Not sure if this related to the same issue source.:

I have gone ahead and delete all .srt files in /volume1/@apphome/PlexMediaServer/Plex Media Server/Media/localhost and subfolders.

Iā€™ll see how this goes.
I do however still have the issue with posters not loading for some movies and series, with above screenshot as example. Any idea what that could be?Plex Media Server Logs_2021-01-21_16-05-25.zip (5.2 MB)

After great help from Chuck the problem seems resolved for me. Sub-zero plugin was the root cause and Chuck helped me find and fix incorrect files.
