I have noticed today that the desktop player when selecting the 1080P High profile, will not actually run the transcoding process. This appears to happen when playing 4k content down to 1080P. Is this potentially a bug? For this specific file, my device can play it natively, however this also doesn’t work for DoVi/HDR10 files which are not natively supported.
I have tested this on a windows desktop as well as my linux laptop.
