I’d like to see transcoder settings for quality options for both remote play and home play. I’d like fast transcoding for if I’m remote and slower for better quality if I’m at home.
Is there a particular bottleneck you’re trying to solve with this?
I would expect that more expensive transcoding should also achieve smaller files and might therefore be better suited for remote streaming.
well at home id like to have the best quality however it I’m remotely playing and I have the setting higher than default the video wont play back it buffers nonstop but having it higher and watching within the network I have no buffering issues.
