Transfer managed home user to their own account

So there are a lot of restrictions on managed users, you can’t do a lot of things. So it would be great to be able to transfer a Managed User to a proper full user.

It seems odd we can add outside accounts to Plex Home but not the other way around.

There’s already an existing feature suggesting discussing an option to transfer a managed user to a regular account (e.g. keeping their watch history…). Please comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes. Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.

Ability to convert a Home User into a Friend

I’ve added my wife as a Home user but would like to convert her account into a standalone plex user. She actually already created a Plex account and I can invite her as a friend but she will lose all her history. It would be great to have the ability to transfer this data from a home user account to an invited user account.
