I have to rebuild my server as my Drobo 5n died I have moved all the Libraries to new hardware set but cannot see how to transfer Collection info over to the new setup.
I think it is part of the match process when Plex detects your media. You might have to manually edit a few.
Collection info is part of the metadata in the Plex server database. Unless you transfer that over, then any server that scans the same video files will start over from scratch.
So if I copy the the Metadata folder over to the new install this will transfer all of the Collection info and any changes I made to the files. Sorry very new at this so trying find out as much as I can.
