Hi
I had an Old Plex Media Server (oPMS) running on an Old Mac Pro (Old Server Version#: Version 4.100.1). In the last year I have replaced the Old Mac Pro with a new Mac Mini machine and now also have a New Plex Media Server (nPMS) running on that machine (New Server version#: Version 4.136.1).
I took some time adding things to the new machine and running it in parallel with the Old Mac Pro before the new Mac Mini took over as the main machine.
The new machine is running fine, including the nPMS. In All the media content seems to be connected well in the nPMS and works, the issue I have is that I had a number of Plex Movie Playlists of content from my media library (mostly film and TV collections) that I had set up on the oPMS and those Playlists have not appeared in the nPMS.
The Old Mac Pro that runs the oPMS is off most of the time now i have transitioned to the new machine, but if i turn it back on the playlists i set up are all there in the oPMS, and visible and accessible on the new and old PMS but when the Old Mac Pro is off i can’t see or access those playlists on the nPMS.
Is there a way i can export the Playlists from the oPMS and import them to the nPMS?
Or do i need to construct the playlists again from scratch in the nPMS?
Or to make this work will I need to reinstall the whole nPMS with some sort of version of the oPMS?
Any thoughts, help advice would be much appreciated.
P
