Is that the program to make Plex run as a service? That is not released by Plex.

I don’t think “PlexService.exe” is part of Plex.

Are you using this “wrapper” that makes Plex into a service? It uses a similar name.

But it’s rather old at this point, and I don’t think it would encrypt your files! I would go check on those specific files.

I would be concerned that Trend Micro may have identified legitimate malware, hiding with the “Plex…” name.
