Trouble Accessing 2nd Plex Server

Server Version#: 1.41.0.8994 + 1.40.2.8395

I have PMS 1.41… running as a plug-in on TrueNAS Core 13.3. It is accessed at 192.168.100.205:32400 and works correctly. That server is labeled PMS2021.

I’ve just built another server on TrueNAS Scale 24.10 (Electric Eels). I’ve setup PMS (most current version is 1.40…) using their Apps facility (Docker). That server is accessed at 192.168.100.190:32400 and it works correctly. That server is labeled PMS2024. It is a fresh install. I did not try and migrate the setting over from the TrueNAS Core box.

Here’s the problem:
From the TrueNAS Scale box (PMS2024) I can access the libraries for both PMS2021 + PMS2024. This enables me to finish testing and moving any files I might have missed. The plan is to eventually decommission PMS2021.

OK so far BUT:

From the TrueNAS Core box (PMS2021) I can only access the PMS2021 libraries. The PMS2024 server is recognized but it is inaccessible.
The same thing occurs on an Nvidia Shield. It sees the PMS2021 libraries. It sees the PMS2024 server but it is inaccessible.

I would appreciate some suggestions on how to best debug this?

Are they both claimed to your account? If so, which servers are you able to access from https://app.plex.tv ? You may need to click the “More” menu in the left sidebar and pin your desired libraries from each server.

I claimed the 2nd server as part of the install. I am getting a message that says, “app.plex.tv is unable to connect to “PMS2024” securely”. Secure connections are set to “Preferred”, not “Required”.
