Hey all. I’m having trouble granting access to a new user from my server. I’ve tried it both with and without them being in my friends list. I add them as a friend, then go to “Grant Access,” and select their names from my list of Friends Without Access. I click their name, and I select which libraries they have access to. When I hit confirm, though, it says “There has been an unexpected error.” Any idea what could be happening? We even tried having them delete their old account and create a new one with a different email address, and the same thing is happening.
I just added a new user tonight as well and have the same problem… anyone ever see this before?
Hi Guys… so I had this problem as well. and i found a solution. go to your friend’s list (if you already added that person) then click the friend you want to add to the library. Click the 3 dots near his/her name

just simply click the “manage library access” and its pretty straight forward from there
I hope it helps
That worked! Thank you so much!
Yes, I managed too using this method. Thanks! ![]()
Thank you!
For some reason granting access via any other path (settings/manage access or friends list/manage access) would give an error. This option work flawlessly.
You’re welcome guys… I’m glad it worked
Thanks for the workaround, worked for me, too.
