Trouble Setting Up Plex Media Server

I’m having fierce trouble setting up the Plex Media Server and I’ve tried following some guides. I must be missing something, so I need someone to walk me through this step-by-step, as I have already paid for my premium subscription. I can’t seem to find a phone number or webchat
unction anywhere. Can anyone direct me please? Thanks.

It is unfortunate that there is no customer support option, as setting up the server doesn’t appear to be as intuitive as the guides would have you believe.

The trouble I’m having is that I download the server, I install it, when I run it, it brings me back to the website asking me to download it and install it, and I’m stuck in a loop. It doesn’t behave how it should according to the online guides.

By the way, I am installing on Windows.

I’m at this part of the guide but can’t find the html file in the folder.

I have an account, I’m at this page, I’ve downloaded the server, but then when I open the server I just come back to this page. How do I link my media?

Which operating system are you using?
Is the server machine right in front of you, or are you trying to set it up remotely in a data center?
Was there a Plex server installation already earlier on this machine?

The steps for the windows server edition above should definitely work.

I’m using Windows 11. I’m just installing it on my personal computer with the intention of accessing my music library on my phone while I’m on the go. I have a lot of media that isn’t accessible on Spotify but it would take up too much space on an SD card.
