I recently reinstalled my Plex server with a Hauppauge WinTV-quadHD card from Windows 7 to Ubuntu Linux. I started over with a fresh configuration directory (I only copied over the media).
When I scan for TV channels in Linux, I’m missing my broadcast FOX channel. It tuned under Windows 7, both in Plex and the WinTV software but it’s missing in Linux with no change to the antenna or other hardware. I’m puzzled.
I’m not familiar with TV under Linux. What can I do to troubleshoot this missing channel? Thanks for the help,
