I have PMS installed and working on a windows machine, but I am migrating to a UGREEN DXP 8800 plus on which I have installed TrueNAS.

I installed PMS from the TrueNAS Apps, when I open the UI from 192.168.68.200:32400 There is an intro page, then the error page saying there is a problem with a core component and to post the logs here. I can press the browser back button and interact with the UI as normal but cannot add libraries because the option to choose a language is empty and the “Next” button is unclickable.

I’ve tried uninstalling, rebooting, and reinstalling with the same result. I’ve seen many similar posts, but few on TrueNAS and so far no relevant solution.

Thank you

The above logs were obtained through the web app according to the instructions linked on the error page. These are from the server

And the zip file is empty, yet that is what was produced?

I got it working by reinstalling with all of the default storage locations inside ix-applications, so it was likely a permission issue. The datasets I was using for config/transcode/etc. Were all created using the apps template, so I thought that was sufficient but apparently not?
