After entering code on plextvlink it says the account is locked and I “need to chat” with you. Please help

It never fails to amaze me the ways and lengths people will go to scam others. Plex needs to be aware that the fake site was the first one my search engine showed and not the real one. I thought I typed it in correctly from the tv but I must have got it wrong. thank you again.

For what it’s worth, I don’t think there’s a lot anyone could gain from just the 4-digit code you entered alone. Their scam is likely to get folks to contact them for assistance and fish (phish) for account details. As mentioned in Otto’s post in the thread I linked, you may want to consider changing your password and signing out your devices.
