I was trying to link up Plex on a Tivo to my account with the four digit code but I went to this weird site on accident. www_plextvlink_com This isn’t their legit site… but I as I was in a hurry and not thinking I typed in my 4 digit code and hit enter before I realized it looked shady. Do I need to worry about anything? Did Plex know this site exists? Let me know what you think. Thanks in advance.

If you want to be on the safe side, go immediately to https://app.plex.tv/desktop#!/settings/account and change your password.
Make sure to tick the checkbox “Sign out connected devices after password change”.
Afterwards you’ll have to re-link every client and server to your account.
Keep an eye on your plex email address. If you see mails alerting you of a change of email address, revert this immediately using the link in the email.
Contact https://www.plex.tv/contact/?option=plex-pass-billing if you encounter other oddities.

Got it changed a few hours ago, signed in again & reclaimed. Will relog with devices as needed. I checked the authorized devices to see if there were any funny ones and didn’t see any. Nevertheless, thank you for taking the time with the quick response & links, I truly do appreciate it. That’ll teach me to try and do something too quickly while exhausted…boy, what a rookie mistake. My guess is that you weren’t exposed to much here, and that the whole point of that site is to get you to chat with them and reveal more information.
I think that with your 4-character link code, they could have associated your device to their account. But it doesn’t look like that’s what the site does.
After a few minutes, once you generated a new link code, or once the device was successfully connected to your account, the old one should be invalid.
I don’t think they could use it to get into YOUR account. I’m assuming you didn’t give them your username or password?
I agree with all of Otto’s advice.
I wonder if Plex can get plextvlink_com added to Google’s Safe Browsing list.
