I am trying to replace my old Mac Mini Plex version (it crashed) with a new Drobo 5N2 PLEX server. I installed the Drobo Plex version with No Problem and it is running.
But when I click on the Settings for the Drobo Plex Server it start the Browser in teh Media Player not the server settings.
Even though the old Mac Mini version is no longer running it shows that server (but indicates that it cannot see the server).
The Older server (Mac Mini) had a URL address of xxx.xxx.xxx.24:32400
The New Drobo has a URL address of xxx.xxx.xxx.20:32400
When I click on the settings in the Drobo PLEX SERVER it opens up the correct URL for the DROBO, but it still shows the OLD Mac Mini on the left side.
I talked with someone who knows how to do work on ROUTERS, he thinks my problem is that since PLEX wants to use a port of 32400 I have to do something to change the port for both the OLD server to a different port and tie it back to the PORT 32400
and then put in a different port for the new server and tie it back to the PORT 32400 also
He said that way both these addresses have a unique port and are tied back to the port 32400 which then connect both addresses to the correct IP ADDRESS and keep them from interfering with each other.
If I have to I can reinsatll the MAC MINI PLEX Server so that I can make the change; but I would prefer to deleete the old MAC MINI server but cannot find anything on how to do that.
Anyone know know how I can fix this?;
