Since it appears that PLex media player isn’t being updated anymore, I installed PLex for windows, and am trying to use that on my PC. Problem is that ALWAYS want to open on the main monitor. With the old media player, if I opened it, moved it to the monitor I wanted, then closed it, it would reopen in that window going forward. Not so plex for windows.
Is there a way to make this happen or do I need to keep using Media Player?
I recommend you to evaluate Plex HTPC as well. It is better suited for TV screens which are operatewd with a remote control.

Thanks, we have Rokus on the TVs, this is for my PC which has three monitors.
I checked that article, and tried the recommendations there, none of the suggestions helped. It appears specific to plex for windows as Plex media player opens on whatever monitor you last closed it on. Not to mention every other app; open word, move it to monitor 3, close it, open it again it’s on monitor 3. Open notepad, move it from monitor 2 to monitor 1 close it, reopen it, it opens on monitor 1.
I’ll poke around a bit more and see if I can figure something out. Thanks again.
Try closing it while not maximized.

Just in case anyone else runs into the same problem; I actually HADN’T Tried that.
I just realized that previously I’d taken it out of ‘full screen mode’, but I think I left the regular ‘Windows’ type window maximized. I ‘restored’ and closed it on the preferred window, then reopened and it opened on the proper monitor. I then maximized and went full screen again, closed, and when I reopened, it was on the right monitor and in full screen mode.
