I’ve got a DVB-C/T stick made by Technotrend (TT-TVStick CT2-4400) I’d like to try with Plex. This stick is basically using the same internals as the officially supported tuner DVBLogic TVButler 100TC and my guess is there both actually made by DVBSky and based on the T330 usb tuner.
I’ve already filled out the form for the community supported tuners. Do I need a special invite to test this? Or is there a way to test this BDA-compatible tuner myself?
What happens with those community tested tuners anyway? Do they just start to work for every user or is there some manual setup necessary in order for them to be detected by Plex?
They said they are planning to open up all tuners as an option to all Plex pass users but as usual no eta. I have posted 2 in there that seem to work but they won’t get universal plex support hence the community supported part. As for your tuner. If it is the same as supported it may work. Otherwise fill out form and @kinoCharlino will probably let you in the test group.
The DVBSky T330 is only seen as a T2 tuner by Plex
So if it is based on it it may do the same, Plex DVR seems to hate combo tuners. Maybe when it’s out of Alpha it will get better

Already tried that when the program first started. You can guess the result…

Weird. The officially supported TVButler usb tuner from DVBLogic is a combo tuner as well.
