Turning on Scan my library automatically causes plex to scan nthe same library over and over

i have noticed that if i have Scan my library automatically plex just scans one of my libraries over and over and i cannot cancel the scan unless i reboot my synology. but then plex just restarts and scans the same library over and over again.

what do i need to do to fix it?
