For the last few releases of Plex on Synology my TV library seems to be constantly scanning. It just starts even the there is no change. The first few times I let it run and it ran for almost 48hrs and was still scanning! I have no idea what or why its suddenly doing these scans, can anyone help please?!
I’m seeing the same issue with other library scans. How can it be stopped? Is there a command I can use on the Synology to stop the scan other than restart?
Version 1.25.6.5545 has scanner fixes which should help. At least it has for other folks who have had problems like you report.
I’d suggest trying that first and then if its still failing attach a new set of logs after attempting a library scan.
