TV Guide 1 hour off

Hello,

I have a HDhomerun running with Plex everting works fine except the tv guide is one hour off. I check the system time in the log file and on my server (synology nas) both are correct. I also check the tv guide source (xml file). I do use an alternative EPG:

http://d52255a1.static.ziggozakelijk.nl/xmltv.xml

Since there is no EPG anymore for The Netherlands. All air times are correct. So I do not understand why Plex does shift the times with one hour. No I can not make any records.

Your XMLTV guide data provides no time zone information for the start and stop times of the program:

This means that UTC is assumed (according to the DTD):

All dates and times in this DTD follow the same format, loosely based
on ISO 8601. They can be 'YYYYMMDDhhmmss' or some initial
substring, for example if you only know the year and month you can
have 'YYYYMM'. You can also append a timezone to the end; if no
explicit timezone is given, UTC is assumed. Examples:
'200007281733 BST', '200209', '19880523083000 +0300'.  (BST == +0100.)

Aren’t The Netherlands UTC +1 currently? That may explain the discrepancy.

Thanks, that makes sense. Do you now how I can fix this? I have xteve.de running on my server. I can change channel logos, channel number and build a new XMLTV file for Plex. However I did not find how I can add time zone data.

Unfortunately no, I don’t know how you should correct this. It may be that you can contact the provider of the data to see how to add the time zone information. Worst case, perhaps you could write a script add " +0100" to the start and end times.
