So I setup my Plex Live TV & DVR with my HDHomeRun CONNECT today and seem to be having an issue with the guide and time. So if I look at the guide it shows the correct time, but if I tune into it or set a recording, it’s off by 3 hours. I tried looking around in the settings but can’t find anything. You guys have any suggestions?
Perhaps you picked the wrong zip code when setting up the DVR and guide?
Which shows did you try to record that were off by 3 hours?
Swear I set it up correctly when I did. And the guide shows as correct with all my local channels. But on any channel if I click on it to live view the bar at the bottom shows it’s 3 hours behind, and all my recordings are the same way (which makes sense if the DVR clock setting is off). I can try setting it up again if you think that’ll help.
If the giude data is correct then you probably got the right zip code. Is your DVR is clock accurate?
Yeah, just ran through it again. Restarted HDHomeRun CONNECT, paused and restarted the docker app, deleted the DVR and reset it up. Same thing. Took a screenshot of where I’m seeing the wrong time. I took it at 6:15pm. Not sure what else to do, looking through the settings never saw a place to set the time. So strange.
Check the local time of your Plex Media Server (=the underlying Operating System!)… might be set to a wrong timezone.
Thanks! That was it. Needed to add the NTP servers in, the unRaid time was def off. Think we’re all set now.
