TV seasons added to wrong show

I had my TV Shows library pointing to several sub folders to make backups easier. The folders were named like Download Only (which is backed up) and Streaming Copy (not backed up).
Everything was working as expected. All shows, seasons, and episodes were displayed as expected.
I created a new folder for ripped shows but instead of adding this folder I add the parent folder TV Shows to the library and deleted the others. Now if I add new folders in the future it’s taken care of. This is how my Movies library is set up.
Boy did I screw up. Plex reindexed all but one season of one show and added all the others as seasons in Dark Shadows (873 seasons) and Fraggle Rock (102 seasons).
I moved all the folders to a temporary folder not indexed in the library and started adding the shows individually. The first show is added fine but seasons of the second show are added to the first show.

What do I need to do to get back to normal?

So your TV shows library is currently only pointing to to path to main “TV Shows” folder? Under that each show has it own folder?

Yes. Folder structure is:

You cannot have folders in between the folder added to the library and the show folder.

If your files are organized like this, you cannot add /TV Shows to a library.

Given that structure, you would need to add the A folder to the TV show library.

/TV Shows  <-- Not added to any library
../Streaming Copy <-- Not added to any library
..../A <-- Added to TV Show library
....../Adventures of Superman (1952)
......../Season 01
........../Adventures of Superman (1952) s01e01.mkv

Edit: You should also add the year to the show. Given the number of “Superman” shows, it will help Plex figure out which one you want to match.

1952: Adventures of Superman
1966: The New Adventures of Superman
1993: Lois & Clark The New Adventures of Superman
