TV Series only showing some of the episodes.. LA Law TV season 1 only showing 13 episodes- I have 22

I copied the entire season one that I made from my DVD collection: was all done with handbrake…they were all named the same…I went ahead and used Subler and added the metadata…but only some of the episodes show up…also I have season 3 folder that no episodes even show up all no season 3 on Plex…

This is almost always due to naming or you file structure

any ideas how to add the two bonus features on season 1
one is called the lawyers the other is called the LA Law story…I was able to find this info on DVD Talk

  • The Lawyers spends just over an hour interviewing the actors, who seem overwhelmingly grateful for having been able to play such fascinating characters - Arnie Becker, Roxanne (Secretary), Douglas Brackman, Jr., Victor Sifuentes, Michael Kuzak, Grace Van Owen, and Stuart Markowitz and Ann Kelsey.
  • The L.A. Law Story documentary comprehensively goes through the conception, production and release/reception of the show in three segments: Opening Statements, The Evidence and Final Verdict. While it could have used trimming for some of its sprawling 88 minutes, it’s cool to see all the admiration Bochco and the others had for this project, all these years later.

This usually depends on what type of content it is.
If it’s episodes that aired outside the regular seasons, those are usually listed as specials (season 0).
If it’s primarily some DVD extras, they might be better suited to be treated as local extras.

You can obviously also add them as “regular episodes” with an out-of-range episode number. You’ll then need to manually edit all metadata like titles or descriptions.

With the examples you’ve mentioned, my personal preference would be to go with the local extras option.
