Anyone else run into this? A TV Show that was originally recorded from live TV seems to have any but the latest episodes deleted during garbage collection, even though the original scheduled recording task has been removed. It appears that the scheduled recording settings are still being applied to the TV show. I have tried resetting the show to “keep all” but it makes no difference. On the next garbage collection cycle, all but the latest episode will be deleted. Anybody know how to fix this?
Check the settings in the Library instead of the Recording Schedule. Go to the show’s card, click on the Pencil to edit it and select Advanced:
That might be what’s deleting your shows.
Thanks ChrisAWallace for the suggestion! I wasn’t looking at the “Keep” setting…and it was set to “after a week”. I am sure that was what has been biting me.
