TV Show Nested Folders Question

I was attempting to condense my tv show folders at the top level and ran into an issue where my server stops reading them as individual shows. For example i have several of the various Star Trek series and attempted to condense them as follows:

\root path\TV Shows\Star Trek\Deep Space 9
\root path\TV Shows\Star Trek\The Next Generation
\root path\TV Shows\Star Trek\Voyager

This would condense the top level under a single Star Trek folder, while still identifying the individual shows in the subfolders along with their respective season folders and episode files.

Doing this caused the server to detect the entire batch as a single show, in this case Voyager, but tied the episodes to a different show, TNG. Is it possible to fix this to where it detects all 3 shows separately again, or will i need to move them back to the top level?

yes this the way it needs to be done else you will run into weird things like what happened

Understood, are there any plans on allowing for this type of structure in the future?

There is not

This can be done in the current system, just takes a bit of planning, you also have to add the specific topical folders to the library instead of \root path\TV Shows
